Rocklin!

I had a fantastic week this week! It was sooo good.
We started out Monday playing basketball and volleyball. That's all I ever want to do anymore. I LOVE volleyball and basketball.
Not a lot of people answered the door this week, but we saw so many miracles in other ways! Tuesday night we went to this Cub Scout thing and I decided I was going to get to know some people instead of sit at the wall and watch. So we go sit at a table and guess what?! Of all tables to sit at, we sat with nonmembers! They were very friendly and it was way fun to get to know them. Guess what? Their church they are going to now is just because it was built by their house and the kids asked about it and now they go. It's some small denomination. I can't wait to teach them. I know I might not, but still. So excited! That night we did splits! I was super nervous because it was my first splits, but it all went well. Turns out they are just as nervous or more.
Wednesday we had district meeting. It was really good. Get this! This investigator who's been investigating for years makes the most amazing treats for all the district meetings that are down south. She is sooo nice. I don't know why she isn't baptized. She LOVES the missionaries though. Hopefully someday.
Thursday was exchanges! I went with Sister Tsalagi and Sister Gore came here with Sister Smith. Sister Tsalagi is sooooo sweet. She is just the sweetest, kindest missionary and when we were talking nonstop it felt like we were so similar. I was able to learn a lot from her. She is just amazing. We went to this lesson with this really really crazy guy. He was sooo crazy. Idk. But I think the best thing about exchanges is just all that I was able to talk with her. It was so easy to open up with her and just talk. I learned so much.
Friday was car fast and we picked up a new investigator. Woo! But he didn't show up to the appt we set up with him and we only have his number. :/ We were just passing him on the sidewalk though. He was so happy!
Saturday women's conference was sooo good! I thought of Aunt Trish during the first talk and teared up a bit. I invited Sister Marston to sit right by me so then I was like oh my goodness Sister Marston is right next to me. Pay attention! But it was so cool. I wish I could get to know her better. We need like interviews with her every transfer too. You know. We get to know Pres Marston so well. I would say more, but I think my comp is crying now so... I've got to go. I just have Sunday left and we had a bible bashing lesson with our Ward mission leader and a new investigator at the church. It was ok. He's coming back, but because of the paper he needs to write for school. Not because he really wants to know.

Transfers - half way mark!

Bonnie is from Redding and loves feeding the missionaries.  Her food is so good.  She and I got real close and I will miss her.

One thing that I do want to say about this week is I was honorarily invited to Mission Leadership Conference! I LOVED it! I have always said the best thing about being a sister training leader would be getting direct council from the mission presidency every month. Hat was so great and I learned so much! I was hesitant to participate at first because I wS not a sister training leader, but it became impossible for me to not. And soon I was up front practice teaching in front of everyone for them to evaluate. It was so fun and I loved. Also I know soo many people there. I feel like I know the whole mission now. I have soooo many missionary friends. I'm surrounded by a mission family and I am so blessed.

The all time number one reason I loved getting to attend MLC this week was to see my trainer Sister Cozzens who I LOVE more than I can express. I have learned gobs and gobs from her and I am so sad to say that I said my goodbyes to her on Wednesday. That Georgia Peach is flying home tomorrow morning. And I'm only a lot bummed about it, but even more excited for her to see her family and hug her mom. She has worked soo hard here, loved so deeply, for a full eighteen months absolutely leaving a mark in this mission. I'm so proud of her and excited. This was a tender mercy beyond compare for me to be able to see her Wednesday. I am so thankful President let me come. That day I was so happy that I was troubled... because my smile did not suffice for the joy welled up inside me.

But! I am going to  Rocklin, California Wards 1 & 5! Tomorrow! In the morning!!! Packing  know is a fantastic missionary and I am soooo excited! She goes home this transfer so I will be sending another missionary home. Call me the mission grim reaper. :D ok. On top of that. I know almost all the missionaries in my new zone!!! I am sooo excited! I'm going to a zone where I'm already friends with everyone. I'm stoked! Some of my best friends are in that zone. :D

Hey friends! One more week before transfers!
Guess what?! We found a new investigator this week! :D We were looking for a member and we knocked on the door that she would live and it wasn't her! Apparently she moved and another gentleman moved in. I was like oh, you're not Molly. Haha. He told us that he had just moved to Redding so he didn't really know anybody. So we told him who we were -missionaries for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints of course! :) and I was super excited to tell him about the fun get togethers we have every Monday and sometimes Saturday and sometimes Friday. They're young single adults. They pretty much do whatever they want. :) We told him it was a really great way to make friends since he just moved to town. We talked about the Mormon church. He wasn't too familiar. He said he would be interested in going to church! Yes! He said we could come back this week! We are definitely bringing some YSA members to meet him. We were so excited :) oh! Also, we gave him a Book of Mormon! :D

Friday our dinner called us and was like ok, I have five non members coming over for dinner. They just have been coming to my mind and then once I started inviting I couldn't stop! Haha we were jaw dropping to each other. It was so funny. This member is so awesome to us already an now she was inviting her friends over for dinner to meet us and we were so excited. :) the dinner went really well. We loved her friends.

Right after dinner though I went to bed and got really really feverish and achey and just the chills so bad. I didn't sleep at all the entire night. Soo.. I got it! I got the flu! But it really didn't last long. Something I noticed in the blessing I received was I was promised I would be able to go back to proselyting. Not that I would be to full health or that I would get better, which I already know I will, but that I would be healthy enough to proselyte. Once I didn't have a fever anymore, and got the nurse's permission we were out the door. So I will be working hard this week and also getting lots of sleep to recover fully :)
Remember- People forget what you do or say, but they will never forget how you made them feel. :)
